Graham's Program for Broadway

NEW YORK -- New York City cabarets and restaurants have teamed with Graham's Six Grapes Port for a donation to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The $3,000 donation was generated by the sales of Graham's Six Grapes Port at participating cabarets and restaurants during a three month period when Graham's donated 50% of its profits to the New York based not-for-profit organization.

The donation was presented to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS at a recent reception at The Firebird Russian Restaurant in Manhattan. The evening featured special cabaret performances by Mark Murphy, Down Beat's Male Vocalist of the Year, and local talent Stephanie Crawford.

"We are very excited to be able to support Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and its important work," said David Campbell, President of Premium Port Wines, Inc., importer of Graham's Port. "We thank participating cabarets and restaurants who offered our consumers the opportunity to enjoy a great glass of Port and at the same time contribute to a great cause."

This is the second year Graharn's Six Grapes has offered its support to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Earlier this year, Graham's Six Grapes was a sponsor of the organizations Broadway Bares fund raising performance. Graham's is currently running a similar donation program in San Francisco for Project Open Hand, which provides meals to people with AIDS.

Broadway Care/Equity Fights AIDS is the nation's leading industry based not-for-profit AIDS fund raising and grant making organization.
